On 13/10/2020, the platform Elevate Greece (National Register of Start-ups) was officially launched by the Prime Minister Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in the presence of the Minister of Development and Investment Mr. Adonis Georgiadis, the Deputy Ministers Mr. Christos Dimas and Mr. Giannis Tsakiris and the G.S.R.T. Mr. Athanasios Kyriazis through which the interested start-ups will be registered and will be certified that they are “officially” characterized by the State as start-ups, if they meet two basic characteristics:
a) innovation.
b) the scalability of the project.
Interested start-ups can apply through the link elevategreece.gov.gr (the process is simple) and the deadline, especially for 2020, “runs” until the end of the year. From 2021, applications are expected to be submitted in three cycles: 01/01 to 30/03, 01/05 to 30/07 and 01/09 to 30/11.
